A costume contest will be included. Plans for Charlie Adams Day were finalized. Items discussed were the number of vendors, drink booth worker schedules, and persons responsible for setup supplies. Main Street was approached by the Chamber to help with putting up banners on Main Street. Glenna reported that their Design committee will order some for the 4th of July.
Under new business it was decided to sponsor the fall city-wide garage sales on Saturday, October 1. We will get a banner for each end of town to advertise. It will say, “City-wide Garage Sales this Saturday” so that it can be displayed in the spring and fall. Debbie is helping with posting on Facebook and we are gaining more interest. There was a lot of discussion on what the Chamber can do to help our existing businesses and reach out to new ones to fulfill a need in the community.
The meeting was adjourned on a motion by Marvin, seconded by Kirk.
