All award winners will be invited to the November Chamber Meeting to be recognized publicly, have their pictures taken and be congratulated by the board on their award winning work.
Contestants can participate in more than one category at the same time. The general theme of the contest is Life in Newkirk. At the heart of the contest is the City, the urban environment and the humanity living here, everyday life, the countryside, the aesthetic and architectural views. Photo editing is allowed. Both color and black & white photos are allowed. Photos with signatures, frames, or visible marks will not be accepted. Photos deemed offensive according to the sensibility and the unappealable decision of the board will not be accepted. Winning submissions will be chosen by the Chamber Board. Each photographer maintains moral and intellectual property rights on their submitted works, while also granting the Newkirk Chamber of Commerce the non-exclusive right to use the winning images to promote/advertise the Chamber's activities. By entering the competition, the artist accepts the rules and declares that he/she is the owner of the intellectual property rights and of the rights of use of the submitted image.
