The Chamber sponsored another very successful Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 4th.  The theme this year was "Wild West Christmas" and the judges selected First Baptist Church of Newkirk as the first place winner.  Second place went to Equity Bank, and Newkirk FFA took home the 3rd place trophy.

Someone who is dedicated to Newkirk and it's citizens, and shows a willingness to work with other Newkirk residents. A person with the qualities of honesty and integrity. Ballot boxes are available at Main Street Bakery, Equity Bank, Community National Bank, and the Chamber Office.
Glenna's Goodbye
I, Glenna Blair, will be resigning my job as Chamber secretary at the end of January.  I have enjoyed the job for 5 1/2 years and I'm ready for a change, but I will still continue to be active in the Chamber.  Shannon Smykil will be taking my place and we have been working together for a few months to guarantee a smooth transition.  I have no doubt that she will do a great job.
