Ribbon Cutting for Public Safety Center

The Newkirk Chamber of Commerce along with Newkirk Main Street, and the City office recently held a ribbon cutting for the new Public Safety Center.  The 4.5 million dollar facility houses the police and fire station, as well as a training room that can also serve as an emergency operations center.  Funding for the building was provided by the Doug and Sandra Cline Trust.  Marybeth Glass is seen cutting the ribbon for the Trust committee.
